Your initial open enrollment for Medicare Advantage plans is the three months prior to turning 65, the month of your birthday, and the three months after turning 65.
You must be enrolled in Part A and Part B of Medicare if you want to purchase a MedAdvantage plan or a Medicare Supplement plan.
It is also important to have prescription drug coverage.
If you don’t have prescription drug coverage and then need to purchase it later, you will have to pay a late enrollment penalty that will permanently increase your premium.
We do not offer every plan available in Washington State. Currently we represent 8 organizations which offer 57 products in Washington State. Please contact Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE, or your local State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) to get information on all of your options.
Medicare Plans are offered by county, and not all counties will have access to all plans.
