Your initial open enrollment for Medicare Advantage plans is the three months prior to turning 65, the month of your birthday, and the three months after turning 65.
You must be enrolled in Part A and Part B of Medicare if you want to purchase a MedAdvantage plan or a Medicare Supplement plan.
It is also important to have prescription drug coverage.
If you don’t have prescription drug coverage and then need to purchase it later, you will have to pay a late enrollment penalty that will permanently increase your premium.
Do you have a Medicare Appointment with us? Please make sure you have signed a Scope of Appointment form for us.
Please contact us if you are interested in purchasing a MedAdvantage or Medicare Supplement plan. While there are many options available, we are unable to offer all of them. If you need a plan from a company we don't represent, we will refer you to the right people to help you find what you need.
Medicare Open Enrollment is
October 15 - December 7 every year.
If you are turning 65, you have a special enrollment period starting 3 months prior to your birthday.
